A clever excuse?

What is the best excuse you have heard lately? The best excuse I heard lately came  from someone who was caught lying. In conversation it went like this: Questioner:  “I was called out for lying, and I  replied, ‘You didn’t tell me I wasn’t  supposed to lie.’ Was I wrong to  answer like that?” My Response:  “It was witty, but not right.  With that excuse, you lose the  chance for your next lie.” This shows how excuses can be  clever in form but hollow in  meaning.  They may amuse the listener,  yet they expose the weakness of  avoiding truth. Excuses may sparkle with wit, but  they weaken the light of truth. 🌝 (Image source: Pixabay.)

Through Moments in Life

All I can hope is that you can understand what I’m trying to say, in the way that I’m trying to say it. But in the end, we all look in different directions, with different perspectives and opinions, and yet, in the end… we feel the same. And this is just a small sum of pieces and circumstances of a life that could be, let’s say, anybody.
