Do you think we should behave badly with people who behave badly?
Answer
Ideally, we should not behave badly in return. Yet few are capable of living by ideals alone.
What matters is holding to principles: do not mirror their wrong, but do not let it pass unchallenged. Those who behave badly must be made aware of their fault and warned not to repeat it.
