Have you ever regretted reading a book — which one and why?

Big boss, I am confused—I wonder if anyone can truly regret reading a book. Regret means “to be very sorry for,” a term that belongs to serious lapses or mistakes, not to the wrong selection of a book.

I have never regretted reading a book. If I lose interest, I simply stop reading. That is not regret—it is choice.

I believe every book, even unfinished, leaves a trace; regret belongs elsewhere.
