Dictatorship—A Trend That Must Fade.

If you could erase one trend from history, what would it be?

If I could erase one trend from history, it would be dictatorship.

Remember Hitlershahi in Germany and the English empire that ruled countries across the world. The Mughal empire too captured and controlled India for centuries. These rulers lived in luxury while ordinary people suffered under systems of slavery and exploitation.

Unfortunately, the present era is not free from this trend. Many leaders still rule their countries under the shawl of democracy, using unimaginable tactics—bribery, manipulation, and misuse of power—to rise as Presidents and Prime Ministers.

In some big countries, there was even an unpredictable attempt to push a most powerful personality from another field—technology and business—into politics, to strengthen the power. Though people were manipulated initially, they awakened at the right time and showed their strength and the attempted pairing of a political leader with a global tech magnate, failed to gain lasting ground.

At the same time, this also reminds us of how certain leaders, like those in Russia, have consolidated power by presenting themselves as indispensable while suppressing opposition. Such cases reveal the key characteristics of modern dictatorships—where power is maintained not by open violence, but by manipulation, image control, and the illusion of democracy.

Key Characteristics of Modern Dictatorships:

Spin dictatorship: Leaders rely on propaganda, disinformation, and pseudo‑democratic institutions instead of open violence.

Imagocracy: Power is maintained through media manipulation and image control, convincing citizens of competence while silencing dissent.

Hidden under democracy: Elections are held, but outcomes are manipulated; opposition exists, but is weakened or co‑opted.

Let us hope that the people of the world, awakened and united, will push dictatorship into the pages of history—never to return, never to rule again.

Through Moments in Life

All I can hope is that you can understand what I’m trying to say, in the way that I’m trying to say it. But in the end, we all look in different directions, with different perspectives and opinions, and yet, in the end… we feel the same. And this is just a small sum of pieces and circumstances of a life that could be, let’s say, anybody.
