Someone asked me this question.
Is loneliness a sign that nobody understands you, or proof that you have not yet understood yourself?
Answer
I believe, loneliness is neither proof that nobody understands you nor evidence that you have failed to understand yourself.
It is a condition with many faces. For some, it is a burden of disconnection; for others, it is a source of freedom—free from botherations, boundaries, and distractions.
And loneliness is rarely permanent: with time, many discover companionship, or transform solitude into a deeper relationship with themselves.
