Manache Shlok – 3

“In the morning, let the mind contemplate Rama; Let Rama’s name be spoken first upon the tongue.
Great conduct must never be abandoned; By it, a person is truly blessed among people.”
This shlok is gentle advice to the mind:
Begin the day with remembrance of Rama, let His name sanctify your speech, and hold fast to good conduct.
Virtue is not decoration—it is the foundation of dignity. A person becomes truly blessed not by wealth or display, but by steady adherence to noble conduct.

Advice to the Mind
- Begin each morning with remembrance of Rama.
- Let Rama’s name be the first word spoken.
- Never abandon good conduct—it is the highest wealth.
- True dignity lies in virtue, not in possessions.
- Make remembrance and conduct daily anchors of devotion.
